I have a bird pin which appears to me to be Scandinavian but I can't find the mark anywhere. The clasp is a trombone type so I presume it is European and early 20th century. There are two additional small marks (I've tried to get the best photo's possible). Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Unknown Marks on bird Pin
French (the brooch looks more like a mid-20th century design to me): http://www.925-1000.com/Ffrench_marks.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Not able to check my references at the moment, but if I recall correctly, the crab small guarantee mark is for .800 fineness, from an assay office other than Paris. Can't make out the initials or symbol on the lozenge (diamond) shaped maker's mark, if you can get a better picture, it would help those with the proper references to identify it.

Thank you Cheryl. Pointing me to the French marks was a great help.
