Colorado Silver fork

Post by Kiwisolis »

I have found this fork, it looks like it has makers marks and date marks. I just can't find anything on the company or even if this is real silver or silver plate.

On the handle is the words "COLORADO(Bug symbol)SILVER" then Two lozenges with Capital B's in them, another lozenge with a sort of butterfly thingy, an oval losenge with "A1" then a sideways shield thingy with a Capital N and a capital S with a crown above it. See below picture.

Any Idea's????

Hi,

That's a plater's mark used by Briddon Brothers of Sheffield.

See: http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate_B2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
