Anyone ever seen this? Marked ALFANO made brasil

Thought this was a very neat piece. Can't find any marks like sterling or 925 (have not looked thorough though) But what is it or how is this made or when was it made. And who is ALFANO? Any help very appriciated. The pics on the piece are very colorfull like foil gold and other things I think the first picture on it says RIO but not sure

Yes, Got it from my grand mother when she died. I have the earrings, bracelet and brooch. I don't know much about it only that it is made from butterfly wings and clasified as vintage pieces.
