Hello Friends,
I have a very old silver box with three hallmarks, which I can not decode. I tried several reference book and websites, but no luck.
I hope you can help me to date and maybe assign the silver box.
The box is round/circular with 120 mm diameter and it is 48mm high. The hinged lid show the head of Friedrich The Great.
On the bottom the box has three hallmarks, none of them is the typical German hallmark (half-moon & crown), therefore I am even not sure that the box is of German origin.
I enclose two shots of the hallmarks:
Your help is very much appricated.
Thanks in advance, Rainer

Hello Trev!
Thank you very much for your fast reply.
I check the link you mentioned, but there is a lot of information I have to read.
Do you have an idea how old the item is? I still wonder why there is not the (for me)
typical German hallmark with the Crown&Half-Moon.
Best regards
Rainer
