This is a Belgium plaque. A sort of odd object. Maybe for a hospital. On the sides there is to be seen that it was originaly on a wall or something like that. It says in Dutch/Flemish: "Lyden en liefde" That means: "suffer/endure/bear and love". It is signed by the artist, Jean Ibels, on the left ( with the year 1904) and there is a crest on the right. There is no mastermark. I think I once have seen a sortalike image as a sketch as an early work of Dali, but I cannot remember where I have seen it. It would be nice to know when Dali made that sketch. Maybe this artist had the same example. Any remark is welcome.
