Japanese teacaddy?

Post by zilverik »

Hi,

This box has hallmarks that I don't understand. Someone does?

Regards,

Zilverik

Hi Zilverik,

Likely Chinese, Wang Hing, see: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... 38&t=24259" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.925-1000.com/chinex_marks.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hi Dognose,

Thank you very much. I have this box and several others of eastern origin for many years now and this forum is great that I finally start to know where they come from.

Your link gives the clue. It is probably:

Wang Hing - Hong Kong & Canton - 1922

Regards,

Zilverik
