unknown maker French?

I have this fork that i cant find the makers mark anywhere, i believe it is French from 18th century but not sure
Can anyone help me with this please?

Hi,

I searched in my French books. Nothing there as far as I could see. Could it be Italian? I found an Italian master IC in Verona (1778-1790), however I didn't see a photo of the mark. Maybe someone knows?
