Hi I wonder if anyone help? I have a sweetheart badge which has rifle and union jack on it. Its marked . 375 ( 9ct gold) and a series of other markings- HWL and a rounded capital Q in a box along with other markings. Can anyone advise about these other markings, an confirm is this is Chester assay mark or have any information on dating/period of this badge?
Any help would be most appreciated.
Can you help identify this?

Re: Can you help identify this?
Hi Trev - thanks very much for the information. Do you know what the marking signifies stamped directly after the Chester assay mark?
Re: Can you help identify this?
That is a '9', that, with the '375' indicates 9ct. gold.
