Hello everyone
I recieved a nice oriental serving tray in the post this morning.
The only problem for me is that the hallmarks are in Arabic.
Well so I think anyway, to be honest I don't have a clue which language it is but looks Arabic.
If anybody out there speaks Arabic I would appreciate if could you have a quick look at my hallmark for me please.
Would be very much appreciated.
I just want to find out what it means.
Many thanks
Rob

Hello,
These marks appear on Moroccan pieces The writing says A'mel Al Ma'aden" which means the work of metal and near the star the word
" establishment" appears. This means the piece is not silver but what is known as Alpaca.
Regards
