Modern design shallow dish for ID please: C.O.800

Hi All,
Bought this for Mrs Atlantia some years ago as it's 'modern' look and clean simple lines have a clean uncluttered appeal. But as it's outside of my ethnic/eastern silver collection I never really tried to find out anything about it.
Anyway, thought you peeps might be able to tell me something about it.
It's about 12cm across, marked with 'C.O.800' stamped into the shallow 'foot' and '8146' is carefully scratched into the metal on the inside of the foot.
Any thoughts anyone?
I was guessing scandanavian 1970s, but that was just a guess.

If and I say if your object is silver, you can exclude every Scandinavian country including Finland as a possibly country of origin. The fineness of 800 would be below legal standard in each of those countries (minimum 830/1000). In addition, the mark is not even close to an official silver mark in any of the mentioned countries. Mind my saying but to me it looks more like stainless steel than silver. Could of course be silver but what makes you think it is, 800?

Those are the only marks on it. I assumed they were to denote the 'purity': 800.
It's not stainless steel, it gradually tones, leaves a trace on chalky paper, magnet does a slow slide etc.
My photo's were taken with a falsh, it's getting dark early at this time of year ;)

Nice try but..... However, hate to say this, but a magnet does not react on stainless steel- It is not the same as iron.

LOl, yes the magnet shouldn't react on (high quality) stainless steel.
It does react on this, it does the 'slow slide' that it does on all my silver. As I said, I know the neodymium magnet 'test' isn't exactly scientific.
But Stainless steel is a hard material (compared to silver). Stainless steel also doesn't oxidise or tarnish.
Or leave a trace on chalky paper.
So if it's stainless steel it's not a type I've ever come across.

Maybe it's a Belgian product? In Belgium, in the years 1869-1942 often was used mark "800" without legal assay marks.
