Matla Spoon @1827?

Can any one help me to identify a spoon which I believe comes from Matla. My Gt x 3 Grandfather was born in Malta in 1827 possibly the son of a solider in the British army an Irish regiment. I'm new to this site and I'd like to post a picture of the spoon. Can someone tell me how me how to do that?
