South American Silver - Help Identify

I have a silver tea set with a mark on it that that says 925 and has a tiny swirl or wave-like symbol beneath the number. Does anyone have any information about it? I would be happy to upload a pcture, but I can't figure out how. Thanks!

I just picked up a small silver cup at a flea market with the same mark under the 925. I have researched for hours and can't find anything on it

That's helpful, we can now see that the third mark down is likely to be 'PERU'.
