ISRAEL, John (Grimwade p.557)

Post by MCB »

Last mentioned at Bury Street in 1793 he continued to be assessed to Land Tax there until 1814.
A new tenant was assessed on the property in 1815. As no further information has been found for him this may indicate he had retired from business or died.

I suspect John Helbert Israel was a nephew of John Israel.
