Welcome to the forum. You will probably get some better information than I can provide, but for a start, I can say that Walburt was a subsidary of the New York, New York jewelry manufacturing company Walter Lampl. Jeweler's Circular's mention the existence of this subsidary around 1944 and 1945. I've noticed that most companies that are currently selling Walburt marked jewelry stick to those years for the time that the subsidiary was in business. Walter Lampl had two sons, Walter and Burton, so that's at least a possibility for the origination of the name. Hopefully this information proves useful and good luck with your research.
