Id maker of Victorian Glasgow Silver Ladle

I have a Queen's pattern sauce or toddy ladle, hallmarked at Glasgow, 1870, makers mark AC, which I have been unable to identify the maker, can anybody help in finding out who AC is please.

Hi,

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe this date letter Z to be for; Glasgow 1844 and the makers' mark AC could be for Alexander Coghill 1837-1856, his mark seen on flatware.

Thanks Oel, I think you are correct on the date, both 1844 and 1870 look similar, but upon checking closely, it is 1844, thank you for correcting me on the date and telling me who the maker is, much appreciated.
