Dear all
This is a 12" serving knife in (probably) Bright Vine pattern. When I acquired it, I was informed the maker was Joseph Gloster, which I don't think is correct as the date letter with the monarch's mark indicates 1860 and Joseph Gloster's mark was registered in 1890s. The only maker I could find in this date range would be John Gammage but his marks that I have seen on other websites lack the central pellet.
Any help would be most appreciated as ever.

The Birmingham Assay Office's Early Silver Hallmarks pages list this as James George, jeweller, 9 Summer Hill Terrace, Birmingham. Registration date was 24 February 1856. K is the date letter for the assay year 1859/60.
