Hi All - an interesting silver item that looks a little like a chatelaine holder or possibly would have a belt slipping through it. With a silver loop to presumably hang or tie things from. This loop hangs from a heavy cast silver hand. The hallmarks are P, IO (makers mark?) or possibly 10 and M. It is 86mm long. My initial thoughts were that it may be a religious item - hung from a monk or nuns belt, and possibly Spanish, Portuguese or Brazilian, or even Maltese - but no idea really. Looks 18th century. Any ideas ? Many thanks John
