European Plate Mark? 90?

Post by lilylalique »

Hi folks! Quick question regarding some flatware.....not sure if I guessing correctly that the hallmark is European? Any advice will be appreciated. I have attached a link to view the hallmark.
Thanks so much!

Hello,
I don't know the maker's mark, but the 90 is a German designation for silver plate and the number indicates how thick it is.
German silver marks for solid silver have standardised system that you can read about here:
German Hallmarks
Hope this helps.
