Théodore Tonnelier NECESSAIRE DE PIQUE-NIQUE

Post by avisrara »

Hello!
I am a newbie here, you have an amazing forum.
We bought a wonderful set of marching. Master Théodore Tonnelier. We understand it is not complete. Lacks most of the kit. Sadly it (. But that's all we found. Maybe someone will add something else on the seals. Most of them we have not been able to identify.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the fast reply!
Looked data about the stigma of "Minerva". I'm a little confused. The number 2 is preparing for a silver or that the product was exported?
Another thing I found on the internet other article of this author. And there was a monogram that MAYBE copyright of Prince Alexander

(admin edit - see Posting Requirements )

I'm interested in my monogram. To be honest, I can not understand what kind of characters there? And whose crown. Just make out the "M".
thanks again for your reply!

Good evening,
The Minerva head with the figure 2 is the guarantee mark for a silver fineness of at least .800

The coronet is perhaps that of a Marquis.

To me, it looks like 'LM' or 'ML'.

Sorry for my English! Do you realize I'm using google translator. And yet I have not found how to correct or delete your messages (
LM and ML .. I will try to find it) As far as I knew he had to live after 1823 or at the time. This reduces the number of little marquis)
Thank you again!
