Apologies for previous two-item post. Here is the other related mark on the teapot. As in the Olsen Eftf tray post, I suspect Norwegian. I understand that the GP is for electro-plate but would like any information/confirmation on the Olsen mark or any of the other markings. The mark is slightly different on the teapot than the tray in the other post. Anybody have any ideas on the "NR 220"?
Thanks for any help! Ali
Bergen Olsen Eftf teapot mark?
Re: Bergen Olsen Eftf teapot mark?
Hi Ali,
Welcome to the Forum.
Just to confirm that the mark is that of Theodor Olsens Eftf of Bergen and that the 'GP' (Gullsmed Plett) mark does indicate the the item is silverplated.
The 'NR.220' may refer the model number.

Re: Bergen Olsen Eftf teapot mark?
Trev, I have a similar teapot that has GOP instead of just GP. Would that be any different? Also I can't see the pictures on the first post so I just read what was said.dognose wrote:Hi Ali,
