Silver Asian Bowls Thai? History?

Post by BargainHunter »

First bowl is the largest of the 3 is 4 1/2" wide and 3" tall

Believe them to be solid silver. Not sure of quality yet though.

Forgot to mention each one looks like it was hand hammered out, there are all kinds of ping marks in the bottom where it looks to have been hammer into a bowl.

We don't discuss values on this Forum, but if you really want to know, why not trot the bowls down to the nearest scrap dealer?

If you haven't had done so yet, have a look at the Posting Requirements, in particular the Don'ts:

The value is not relevant to be honest I bought them because I liked them. Just want to understand what it is I have the history behind them.
