Re: Help with makers mark on Polish silver bracelet
Hey
This is indeed polish, 800 silver, made in Warsaw between 1963-1986. That would put it in the communist Era in Poland. The makers mark reads J.J. Jarzemscy which would indicate a family owned silversmith -and here's the problem, in these years so calledon't "private initiative" aka regular small business was illegal/semi legal at vest. The farthest we go from 1963 the better the chances on owning a business by private person.I would thus think that your bracelet was made between 1975-1985 by a small family owned silversmith. I am not 100 % sure of the dating of the piece but I'm 100% sure of the dating of the mark and city info and the fact that it was family owned business which I'm trying to locate -but it may be impossible. I couldn't find any info about the mark next to the head - that may be important. Also I'm not sure but to the left of the J.J. Jarzemscy is a mark that on the picture looks like a star. There was a fox head mark that was just a mark to officially accept the other marks as true. I hope I helped a little

I don't know how to edit yet...I just wanted to say that I hate autocorrect. There are many stupid mistakes in my post but I think it is quite understandable. Just shoot any questions
