Hi,
could anybody help me find out who the maker is of this cup? It has a mark of a K and Phi, and a mark of a W with a hammer.
Thanks in advance.
kind regards,

Hi Kasper,
The W (with Hammer in middle) seems to be made by
"Weißenfelser Silberschmiede G.m.b.H
Weißenfels a. S.
Silberschmiede"
The second mark I dont know, maybe a master from this silversmith?

Ist a nice Piece.

Re: German art deco cup
Hi,
Thanks for the info. I have not gotten any further with the piece so far. Now that I looked for Weißenfelser Silberschmiede, I see they executed pieces by a designer named Kurt Poetzsch, which may very well be the person the lower initials are from.
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards,
Kasper

Hi,
Bingo I think you are right! Hallmark Looks like a looong P and a K. I just saw the www. from Goldschmiede Jens Fischer, maybe you should contact him for more info, Poetsch also seemed to work together with the famous Goldsmith Johann Michael Wilm.
all the best
