Help with Identifying Hallmark on this Sterling Fob Pencil

Post by ericbro »

I am new to this board so I hope I am asking correctly and in the right place.

I have a sterling fob pencil that has a hallmark that I have not been able to identify. I have shown a picture of the hallmark, and a sketch of what I see when I look. In the drawing, I am not sure if the circles are complete circles, or Cs or something else.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Thanks,

Sue

Hi Sue,

Welcome to the Forum.

That appears to be a Mabie Todd & Co. mark.

Thanks so much Trev for the really quick reply. It not only helped me identify that mark, but by searching for that company I was able to find what the pencil I have should be called.

What a wonderful start on this forum.
