Feodor Ruckert???

I bought an object at a boot sale and am having trouble identifying what it is/what it's for

It's makers marks are Feodor Ruckert but other than that I'm stumped. (admin edit - see Posting Requirements )

The ring is 50mm across. I can't get a steady enough shot for the makers marks. I just have no clue what it's for!

Most likely a salt cellar with a missing glass inner part. Without seeing the marks, I hardly believe it is Fyodor Rückert.
