I thought it could be a Russian item but am unsure.

No the bowl is not pewter ,,it must be the light...in reality there are no coppery colours.Traintime wrote:That close-up (photo 2) looks more like pewter or armitale than silver plate. Are we seeing copper base metal showing through on the other shots or is this a lighting effect.
