sterling serving pieces, can't decipher mark, help please

Post by Hayleemilo »

Hi, I am new to the board and hope I am doing this correctly. I have a set of four matching pieces, but the Identifying mark appears to be an intertwined set of letters. If anyone has any clue I would greatly appreciate it!

The photo is a bit too blurry to be of much help. By any chance could the letters be RW&S-it looks like it could be the mark for Wallace & Sons, take a look at the following:

I tried looking, and the only thing I thought looked close was a mark for Henckels. I would have uploaded larger images, but my photo host wouldn't allow anything larger. If anyone is interested, I can email a full res image directly to them. Thanks!
