German Hallmarks. Anyone who know the maker?
Best,
Thomas
Re: German Hallmarks. Anyone who know the maker?
Hello, a little baffled at the two marks on the right hand side (triangle, animal ?). Is this a piece of flatware ? A pic of the pattern might help. Regards, Bahner

Depending what the other mark is, the triangle may be a Birmingham import mark.

It appears to be a double-struck Louis Kuppenheim mark (stuck one way, then another way).
Thomas, the clue was the 'enamelled cigarette case', it is always more helpful to provide such information from the start, ideally with images of the marks and the item.

Thank you Trev. Yes I know. I have a newborn daughter (as well as two older daughters) who unfortunately don't share my interest for antique silver and hallmarks ;)
