The center stone is a combination of amethyst and quartz, which often grow together, and the slab you have there is usually the base of a crystal cluster which will form with lots of pointy crystals in a group ::: I used to have a specimen of this ::: Sometimes amethyst and citrine will grow together, and it is known by the trade name "Ametrine" and it was discovered in Brazil in the 1960's if I remember correctly :::
The four stones on the edges are labradorite, a mineral of the feldspar group which was discovered on the island of Labrador in Nova Scotia Canada ::: there are massive blocks of lower-quality labradorite, and they sometimes make counter-tops and I have even seen the exterior of buildings made out of this lower-quality labradorite which is black with tiny flecks which catch the light in interesting ways ::: Usually the labradorite is blue and has inclusions, but sometimes it is very clean and the highest quality material is really quite beautiful for a semi-precious stone :::
