Unknown silver hallmarks?!Chalice and plate,portugaise?

Hi friends,i got this beautiful set of chalice and his plate in silver.Very unusual hallmark,could be portugaise?

Hi Dani,

Yes you are right Portuguese mark and a so called transitional mark used 1887-1903. The crescent moon hallmarks were applied on non -jewellery silver items with a minimum fineness of 750 (75% pure silver) that had been made by 1887. While the new domestic silver hallmarks and standards went into effect in 1887, the transitional marks were used from 1887 to 1903. The L for assay office Lisbon.
