Hi all,
Here is a spoon for mustard (I guess), that I presume was made around 1900 in British islands (I guess once more !), but with marks which I could not identified.
The marks are :
M in gothic letter
& : poinçon non identifié
NM ? n gothic letter n gothic letter
A I ? I n gothic letter
Could you tell me more about these marks ?
Thanks.
Bristih small spoon ? Around 1900
Re: Bristih small spoon ? Around 1900
Hi,
I think it`s M&W in Gothic. A1 denotes the first standard of silver plating.
Mappin & Webb used many variations of letters and marks but cannot tell for sure.
M&W initials of another maker are unknown to me.
Regards
