Wm. A. Rodgers Other Trade

Post by Traintime »

Wm. A. Rodgers company apparently supplied white metal solid wares marked Nickle Silver with the generic International Order of Oddfellows IOOF topmark. Is anything known of this side of that company's manufacturing activity beyond their plating practice? Did they discontinue unplated white metals early? Did Oneida continue this line under the old name. (This is not a marks question, but the known knife in question has a large R next to the firm's spelled out identity on the blade which is unlike their plateware R's.)
