I have a very large mesh purse - probably from the Art Deco (1920) era that has elaborate open cut work on the frame showing Pan playing his pipe for the nymphs. Also has mother-of-pearl handle braces. It is as decorative as could be and I've never seen another like it. The hallmark I'm picturing is on both sides right in the front next to the cut-out design.
The hallmark shows two fish moving down and facing each other. Between them is the Roman Numeral II (two). Note the perfect shape of the hallmark - like a clover leaf. Many thanks for any help given. Nancy
