Hi. Three silver spoons of form 18th or early 19th century but could obviously be later copies.
I do not seem to have these marks in my refs (sorry for the quality of the jpgs but these HMs are REALLY small and way beyond the capabilities of my camera to get a close-up).
They look perhaps Spanish to me but I'd be grateful for any help. As they are almost impossible to see - to describe.
Two spoons (example to right) have a capital 'B' in a 6 pointed star-of-david. Underneath they have a square cartouche also with an '8'.
The other one (to left) has a more gothic 'B' encased in what looks like scrolling much more ornate 'B' around it. Underneath there is another mark now practically gone but could just possible be a bird.
Beaten me! Any thoughts gratefull received. Clickable thumbnails below. Thanks.
Help with id of marks please ?
