Hi
I have recently acquired the below Ewer (London 1776) but am struggling to identify the makers mark. Unfortunately the first part of the mark is worn on both the body and not very well struck on the lid. (Photos of both marks below)
I've spent a number of hours going through makers marks and cannot find anything which matches up.
Any ideas or suggestions most gratefully received.
Chris

Hi Phil
Thanks very much for your helpful reply.
It’s an excellent match and looking at other work by Walter Brind of the same period tonight, the form of the ‘W’ matches perfectly.
Thanks again
