Just an ordinary Exeter 8g brightcut teaspoon dated 1811 but I have never seen this tiny makers punch mark before. It’s hardly noticeable and measures just under 1mm x 1.8mm, it’s the smallest mark I’ve ever come across on a spoon! Had to use 40x magnification
to photograph it. Probably a Richard Ferris mark.

I agree, most likely a Richard Ferris mark, though not a size I can remember seeing before. However, he was the only RF working in this period.
