Mark help :)

Hello.

I have this great Scottish pin (see below). I figured by the hallmark, that it's from Edinburgh, 1977 ?
However, there seems to be a Maker's mark to the left, which I cannot make out :( Maybe somebody is familiar with the maker and can point me in the right direction?

It looks like it might be CA which is the mark of Celtic Art Industries Ltd of East Kilbride. They registered a plain CA cameo mark in 1974.

Hi Phil, thank you very much!

I can't find the combination of the these marks for Celtic Art Industries.
They seem to have stamped their pieces with IONA and I don't see the Lion Rampant mark on their pieces.
Also, I think this piece is much more detailed, it also has ornament on back, very fine work.

Thank you though, too bad the maker's letters are so smudged!

Sorry was out for the weekend.

Yes, that mark is spot on :) It seemed more detailed to me compared to the their other work, but I'm very glad I know what it is now.
