I have what I think is a sugar dish that is missing its lid, but it's an oddly constructed one, so I really don't know what it is at all. There's only one handle and the lip is kind of curved in. The maker's mark says W.P.H. Co. Quadruple Plated 238 and I can't find any listing for it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help identifying the maker of dish WPH Co.
There is a company that goes by Hitchcock Co. Inc., W.P. from New York about 1934 ish that may be the maker. I have not see many marks for them however, here is an example but it does not match yours.
They were on 106 E. Fayette St. Syracuse NY
