Makers mark on German claret jug

Hi

A friend has asked me if I could identify this makers mark, I know it is German, but does anybody know the maker? He does not intend selling the piece but would like to know who manufactured it. IÂ´m sorry for no including a pictue of the whole thing ( it is a claret jug), but the image is huge,and when I try to crop it it becomes very distorted.

i know the jug- but i ve never seen these marks - only german about 1890 - with a very interesting bone handle.. kind regards, tom from austriaaaa
