A dear friend asked me what all those hallmarks mean. I dont have any idea myself. Two spoons, same marks, but one with "f" the other with "sch". I found the mark with the star online as "USSR". Can you help me with the others?
I'll stick my neck out with this one. It's Estonian. The TJ mark represents the Tallinnskij Juvelirnij Zavod (Tallin's Jewellery factory). The preceding '7' indicates the year, but I do not know which one, probably 1967 or 1977.
Wait for someone who really know's what they are talking about to confirm/deny.
:-))))) nice doing dognose. "TJ7" would be 1967 while 7TJ is 1977---at least to my understanding. Silver year marking in Soviet is usually quit logic, but in some cases like this it might cause confusion.
