I have what I believe is a British sterling 5-5/8" tea strainer, but am not sure of the piece type. The 4 hallmarks are very worn, but I believe the last one shows the 3 legs of the lion passant. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I don't know if this helps much but based on the shape of the hallmarks, especially the wavy shield of the lion passant, the item might be dated to the period 1896-1915: https://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Dat ... -1915.html
You could probably try to identify the maker's mark by browsing the lists and trying to find one with the peculiar shape of the shield and matching time period.
