Someone once posted a spoon with the same makers mark in here many moons ago but I don't think it was positively identified. This spoon is pretty rough but I believe it is early 18th century but it could be earlier

IMS is Jacob Michelsen Steen in Bergen in Norway. He became master 1722 and was alderman in the guild 1735-1737. He died 26.3.1740. His widow Elisabeth Danielsdatter Smit continued with the workshop.
