I have this old serving spoon. I presume that it is silver and not silver plated as the silver has not rubbed off anywhere. There are no hallmarks. The only marking is at the back of the handle as per photo. Would anyone know what the mark means? Thank you.

Hi,
To me, that looks like a WMF plated mark.

Invaluable. Thank you.
Re: Silver serving spoon mark
I have contacted Consumer Service of WMF Group in Germany. They kindly replied with the following information:
"The mark looks like the I/O mark, that was used by WMF for "commonly silvered items". That means that 1 g silver was used for 1 qcm surface".
I am now waiting for further update from them.
