Unusual asain cup Silver/Gold
Unusual asain cup Silver/Gold
Hi all, I have this silver and gold julip style cup. Its un marked but is solid silver and the face is a high karat gold(solid). I have spent a lot of time trying to research on my own but haven't found anything similar. Any help with origin or use would be appreciated. Its about 5 1/2 " tall and no hallmarks.

It seems to be Japanese, and the Japanese have a 1000 year history of beautiful mixed metals, combinations of silver + gold + copper ::::
