I recently came across a beautiful vintage hair clip. The mark on the back is barely legible but after lots of searching I believe it says "Sterling Cortes gc-2 Mexico". However I cannot find any information about this maker! I have found three other pieces with the same mark one of which differs in that it says "silver plated" instead of "sterling". Does anyone have any information on this maker? I would really like to know roughly how old this hair pin is.
