Tvenstrup? sterling tea strainer

Can't figure out this Tvenstrup piece, I guess it's Danish but can't figure out maker with just the T's, has sideways T's on either end. Also hope my photos are small enough this time.

TVENSTRUP is the name of the silversmith. In Denmark the official way was 4 marks. 1 for the smith 1 for month 1 for town and 1 for guardein.
This was valid for Denmark (and Norway) but only in Copenhagen this was carried out. A few of the big cities also tried to do the same - but not with great succes. Customers knew about the 4 marks. And silver carrying 4 marks was considered of higher quality. Therefore some put their mark twice and city mark twise - to show that their siver was fine as Copenhagen silver.

Now your piece is from Randers.
And T is the mark for Tvenstrup (also the mark) in my book I have 3 different T. Yours and two others both with a ring of pearls round the T.
Then I have 2 different RHT
and 3 different marks with TVENSTRUP
All 8 marks for the same man.

It is Rasmus Henrik Tvenstrup born 1828 in Ã…rhus. Gets his citienship 5th june 1850 (in Randers) dead 1910. He had a son Alfred Tvenstrup also silversmith from Randers.

In the book we have different pieced dated 1862 and 1887 and a few without year.

The city mark for Randers should be "R" or "R with a crown" or 3 towers (not like Copenhagen but still 3 towers - different look)

So either 925/1000 is incorrect or my book I believe its Alfred.

Thank you for the lightning fast identification, so it's basically Rasmus Henrik Tvenstrup circa 1850, from Randers, Denmark or is it also from Tvenstrup, Denmark? Also what is the title of the great Danish silver book you are looking at if I may ask?

Not even basically - It is him. He works from 1850 and onwards.

Tvenstrup is the name of the maker and he lived in Randers -
Randers is in Jutland 80 km south of Aalborg and 30 km north of Ã…rhus. The two big cities in Jutland. if you can call a city with 150.000 inhabitants big :)

By the way its not for tea its for sugar.
You use it for decorating things with fine suger.
On top of a cake or like.

Ok that a lot af silver smiths.
My interest in silver is primarily before 1900 - and even best before 1850.
But still its fun to discover and become vice.

Sugar sifter - that was the word I was looking for.
