I came across this German maker's mark that I could not find any information on. The closest I could find was Robbe & Berking, but their arrow is straight and points to the right. Any insight into this maker would be greatly appreciated.
Here's the image. Thank you in advance!
German arrow hallmark
Re: German arrow hallmark
Hello, it has been discussed on this forum. Not Robbe, but a quite modern Hanau maker. Forgot which one, but J. Gehrlein can provide the answer. Regards, Bahner

Thank you, Bahner. Unfortunately, I don't have the Gehrlein book, which would probably be a good investment.
Can I safely assume, though, that the marks are legit and that this is solid 800 silver?

Perfect, thank you. I lost out on the item to someone else, but I learned something new, so it's not a total loss.
Cheers!
