I'm not sure I uploaded the photos properly but the link is above.
11 inches tall and 856 grams. I looked through the Winterthur database and a few books of American silversmiths from the period, no answers.
I know it was gifted as a pair to an individual in New Orleans circa 1843. No luck though finding the maker, D & C, any insight would be
appreciated.

This is probably way late, but the mark is for DUNN (David) & CANN (John), NYC, 1836-1837. They supplied silver hollowware to various retailers, including Baldwin Gardiner.
