I posted another more recent George III cow creamer last week but I was curious about this creamer as well. If anyone can tell me more about the marks and whether they look authentic. This design is obviously much more usual for the period than the other cow creamer. How often is George III silver faked? Given this style cow creamer is still made today, it seems like it would be rather easy to stamp an unstamped piece and quadruple the value... this of course would be especially easy to do to a ~100 year old piece as it would look worn already as well.
