unknown Hallmark pocket watch case 1770s - Germany Friedberg ??

Here I have a silver watch case with a hallmark unknown to me. The watch is almost certainly from the time around 1770. A crown with the letters AC. Can this possibly be a hallmark from Friedberg? I suspect an origin of this watch from the region. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Thank you very much.
